One-night camp over at Franklin Basin!

We went up the canyon for a weekend camp over with the Thatchers.  Brodyn, Dash, and Paul playing trucks in the dirt! Why Kids love dirt is beyond me!  Emmy doesn't like to go anywhere unless she has a baby to bring! She is not picky with babies either, she accepts...Tiger, Lamby, Penguin and occasionally Elephant!  Tiger was the lucky winner this trip, and is becoming her favorite, I am not sure she let go of him the whole trip!  Dash and Brody have so much fun together, Brody was probably one of the first to wake up in camp.  The second he heard Dash's voice (which isn't hard because Dash has the cutest deep, loud voice that is everything but quite!) his eyes lit up and he jumped out of bed still in his P.J.'s barely managing to put on his jacket and hopped out of the trailer before any of us were awake!

Squeezing in a few more trips to the pool!

Fall is on it's way and we had to get in a few more pool visits before it closed for the winter.  We can't come to the pool without indulging in a snow cone, it's our tradition!  Tiger's blood is Brodyn's favorite, Emmy and my favorite is sour grape!

Dinosaur Park!

One of the things we have to do each summer is Ogden's Dinosaur Park.  The Park has dinosaurs statues hidden among the shrubbery with dinosaur sounds and growls coming across the intercom and a museum of artifacts.  There is a park outside the kids love.   Emmy flew down the Pteranodon slide, and didn't stick the landing but flew past it!  The Dinosaur Park is one of Brody's favorite places to go!  He begs all winter to go!

Cache County Fair and Rodeo!

We love the Cache Vally Fair and Rodeo.  Young Ward gives pony rides each year as a fundraiser for the youth.  It's one of our highlights at the fair, the kids love the pony rides!  Dan is usually there one of the evenings helping the kids so we stop by for a few rides.  We also love the Rodeo burgers and show!  We got to watch the rodeo with Paul, Nicole, Carson and Brynlee this year!  Brody's favorite thing about the rodeo our the 'bucking bulls' of course.  Brody calls the rodeo the "radio!"

"Crayfish, Crawfish or Crawdad fishing!"

This is the first time we have ever gone Crayfish fishing, and it was so much fun!  Nate, Wyatt and Shaye invited us along and it was amazingly and surprisingly fun!  I think this is a Redneck hobby!! Emmy and Shaye had fun picking up sticks and pretending to be crayfish!  We will definitely be doing this activity again.  Thanks Nate for showing us how it's done!
