Grandma Brenchley's Halloween Party!

Grandma Brenchley never disappoints! What a fun party she threw together yet again! We had so much fun! Lunch was very spoooky! She had finger bread sticks, a basilisk sandwich, pumpkin puke, monster cupcakes, witches brew, and all sorts of spoooky treats!  Trick or Treats I should say!  The leaf pile was chucked full of candy and the kids loved scavenging around it picking their favorite candies out!  Later we put in Hocus Pocus and watched it with the kids!  I love, love Halloween!  Hazel was a little Lady bug, Emmy and Sophie, along with Beau and Lu lu were little owls! Brodyn decided to be Optimus Prime, who doesn't love transformers! Elle was Rapunzel, Spencer was a caveman, Melissa was a friendly ghost, I decided to use my Dorothy costume and Camille and Lincoln were Popeye and Olive Oil (so funny!!) The rest didn't come dressed with the Halloween spirit...boo hoo! This has got to be one of the all time best holidays.

Flag Football

I asked Brodyn if he wanted to play soccer or football this fall, he cheered "Football"! He is too young to play tackle football, which is okay with me.  I was able to talk with several parents about tackle football and several of them felt it better to start them in tackle when they are a little older!  His coach was really good with teaching his team the fundamentals of the game.  He had so much fun! I didn't get very many pictures because games and practices were on tues evenings which I work, so Dan took him to the majority of the games.  I did get to watch the tail end of a couple though and took few snap shots!  The last few games were canceled because of inclement weather so our short little season was cut even shorter, but the boys still had fun and that's all that counts!

If I knew then what I know now?

If I knew how mentally, physically and emotionally draining being a mom would be, would I have still wanted to become one? Oh yes, a million times yes.  Even if it were 10 x's harder than it sometimes is now yes, a million times ten yes!  I would have said yes even if I would only have one kiss on Brodyn's chubby cheeks, or one scent of Emmy's hair, or one touch across Sophie's face!  It would be worth it.  The most important role I will play in my entire existance is being their mom.
