School Starts!

I feel like we have turned the pages of a new book, a great new "big" book! It is so fun to be a mom with a kid big enough to go to school. Brody loves Kindergarten, the "newness" has worn off a little and he said to me the other day "I have to go to school every day?" Yes honey...everyday! For the most part he loves it!Emmy turns 4 yrs old in about a month and she loves 'Preschool'! She comes to me almost every day and says is it time for Preschool!!

Ballet!

Emmy's Ballet teacher Kaitlyn is so cute, after each lesson the girls get stickers and treats, Emmy loves her!
Showing me what she learned in class..."kissing heals!"
water break down to the drinking fountain!
How sweet is this picture!
Emmy with Eliza...our two princesses! It is so fun to have Emmy in Ballet...I've been so excited to get her signed up, I thought she had to wait until she was 4yrs old but as long as they can listen and follow the teacher they let them in! So Emmy is in the 4-5yr level 1 Ballet with Eliza! I love to watch her, I think I enjoy going as much as she does!

Haulin Hay with Dad!

Would this be considered completely unsafe? Before you think we are terrible parents...we went really slow, and we only drove from grandma's house home! I had to take a picture of this, we need two 4-wheelers, we were all piled on this 4-wheeler and baby Sophie had to park it in front! We are either white trash, or hicks!
She looks happy enough! I had her strapped on the 4-wheeler with a tie-down, and Dan held on to the car seat the entire time.
riding on top of the hay!
Brodyn was a huge help...he drove the truck while Dan and I threw the bails up onto the trailer, he did pretty dang good, only a couple of times Dan or I had to dive into the window and steer him the other way! Driving at age 5...you've got to love the farm!
Here is Emmy actually driving all by herself...she on the other hand was not happy about her job and was quite nervous...(really the truck can drive itself down the field but it helps to have someone steer). She was not happy with us for making her drive! Apparently 3 yrs is too young to drive!

Crazy Hair Day!

I know I have not posted a "First Day" of school post for Brodyn, It is because I lost my SD card with those pictures on it...first I am hoping I will find it, and if I don't I did get a print of it and will have to just scan it in. However it was Green Ribbon week at school, which means safety week and teaching the kids safety, like looking both ways while crossing the street, not talking to strangers, etc. Thursday was 'Crazy Hair' day. Brodyn reminded me that morning, I was thinking we'd probably just pass on that activity. Oh no, Brody remembered that we had green hair spray upstairs in the Halloween box. I didn't even know we had it up there.
Thursday morning we sprayed green all over his sweet 'spike'!
Apparently...I've got a pretty awesome kid!!

Summer We Will Miss You!

The kids out painting a box...we just painted it, it never really turned into anything!
We can't paint with clothes on...when we are done we just hose them off with the hose!
enjoying every bit of summer!
A day at 'Marsha's' house! Melissa and I have been so blessed to be able to swap kids while we work our 2 days a week! Though it can be hard and stressful, oh how we love our day's together!

Brenchley Camp out at Willow Flats, Idaho!

Yummy S'mores!
Warming the marshmallows by the fire!
Beautiful baby Beau!
Look at those beautiful eyes, Camille and baby Sophia...must be in the genes!
"Could I have some more marshmallows?"
Sophie enjoying camping life!
'Paul Bunyan' and Sophie! I think it would seriously off balance Dan if he tried to wear something in style!
Grandma Brenchley made these cute "fairy" hats for the girls, they loved them!
Sophie enjoying the hike up the trail to Willow Flats Spring!
Elle with her "fairy" Hat
Matt and Camille gulping down natural spring water!!
Evan and Brodyn drinking there share!
The kids resting and enjoying the spring!
Muddy little Man
Evan passing out cups of water to all the kids!

CacheValley Fair and Rodeo!

Could the fair be anymore fun? We bought all day wrist passes this year, it was so worth it, the kids had such a blast! We really look forward to this every year! Here's Emmy she is our dare-devil raising her hands up in the air, Brody kept his glued to the handle bars!!We ran into Matt and Jen and the kids got to go on a few rides together, here is Emmy and Casen! This was their most favorite ride, the motorcycle's, we rode this ride several time!Sophie was such a good sport as we dragged her around all day!"Giddy-up"The youth in our ward did the pony rides again this year! The day Dan took his turn we got free pony rides! These sweet pink boots we borrowed from LuLu. Emmy needed all the extra height she could get so she could ride all the rides! They still made me measure her each time! Casen was so cute every time they stood him to be measured he automatically stood on his tip toes! He knew how to work the system!!We rode so many rides we lost count of them!Zoom Zoom!Wyatt and Shaye Daugs had two fluffy little sheep in the fair to show in the pee-wee event, they were nice enough to let Emmy and Brody run them through again! Look at all the loot they got. They had a blast!Showing off their prizes!Brody renamed Wyatt's sheep "Fireball!"Emmy renamed her sheep "powder puff!" But I think that is probably the name Shaye gave it!Thanks Nate, you did all the work and the kids got the spoils! Shaye and EmmyVroom!Brody can't, not stop and ride the motorcycle's and snowmobiles, they could do that all night! We got to go to the rodeo with Nate and Kristy, Dan caught this shirt for Brody the clown through out!The rodeo has got to be Brodyn's favorite part, I rummaged through the tack shed and found my old cowboy hat, covered in dust! He loves it!
