Grandpa Gibson Turned 99 Years Old!

We went to Idaho to celebrate Grandpa Gibson's
99Th Birthday party. It was so much fun and of course Grandpa was just as fun as ever!

It was so much fun to see everyone, and just enjoy Grandpa for the day. We love him so much. I've only known him for 8yrs now, but he is definitely my grandpa too!! Grandpa is such an amazing man, he has this amazing memory, Dan always jokes that grandpa remembers more than he can!! He tells the best stories, which is the best part about going up to visit Grandpa Gibson!!

We spent the afternoon, singing Happy Birthday and eating birthday cake. The kid's love to play at Aunt Jill's house. This is Brodyn sliding down the slide, he thinks he is so big that he can do it all by himself; well almost all by himself, Dad had to lift him up, his little legs can't climb the ladder all the way to the top!

Here we are sitting next to Grandpa! He was getting so cold, he had sat there, and of course everyone wanted pictures with him! Kamian and her little sister, and Angie and Cindy took pictures with him and then turned and both gave him kisses on both cheeks! His face was so cute he was just a grinning!

Brodyn wouldn't give us a good smile! We had a hard enough time just tracking him down to sit for a picture, and Emmy is just looking at him being silly.



Here's Emmy at Aunt Jill's house, she is so tired. She had such a busy day! look at those sleepy blue eyes, believe it or not she actually kept that brown ribbon around her head the whole time. It was actually pretty chilly there, I am so glad we brought jackets, we probably should have brought coats and of course I didn't bring a blanket.






I think this is Grandpa's 4-wheeler or maybe it is Aunt Jill's, anyway it was parked on the grass where everyone was playing and Brody found it and played on it forever! At first I didn't know where he had gone and just like a guy...he found a "big-boy toy!!"








Here's Emmy again, with Dad, she loves daddy, she is just chilling out in the cool weather with him. I got her to sorta smile, even though she was getting tired!
