Happy November Birthday Emmy!

Here is our little 2yr old! It was Saturday, I wanted to take Emmy and Brodyn to 'build-a-bear' at the mall in SLC for Emmy's birthday. We went to Park City first to pick up some pants at baby gap for Emmy, Brody started feeling sick, a fever started and he was coughing. I laid him in the stroller put a blanket over him to contain whatever virus he had. I was afraid he had the swine flu and I was exposing everyone in the store to it. I grabbed the pants fast and left the store, buckled the kids in the car and then Brodyn threw up all over himself and his car seat. I had a dilemma, I hadn't brought an extra pair of clothes and I wasn't about to drag him into the store again to buy something so I put a blanket on him and we headed for home...forgoing "build-a-bear!" If the smell of barf in a small enclosed car wasn't bad enough, a terrible snow storm hit as we were leaving SLC, the roads were so icy, cars had slid off every where on the interstate. It seemed as if there were car accidents at every mile. At Willard we were caught in the snow storm and crawling on the freeway, I didn't dare go through Sardine Canyon so we went through Tremonton and of course got lost...adding an extra 45min to our drive, luckily the kids slept the majority of the way and we made it home. Miraculously we were still able to celebrate Emmy's birthday that night!
Here's Emmy with her cousin Meagann! Emmy reminds me of Meagann!
Emmy with Jade, Caroline, and Meagann! Dan was in St. George with his buddies they had planned a bike riding trip for the weekend, he missed Emmy's Birthday, and since Brodyn was sick I told my family to stay home, but then Mira the amazing grandma that she is showed up anyway with the three girls, and we all celebrated Emmy's 2nd birthday...on one of the most horrible days!
Princess Pea, playing with her tea set Grandma Thatcher brought.
So excited...Happy Birthday princess!

This face shows more of how he was feeling!
Cabbage patch babies, there is a funny story about these dolls! I bought them at Sam's Club, They were cabbage patch newborns in which you didn't know if they were boys or girls. Well if you looked close some of the babies had a patch of hair underneath their little bonnets, I assumed that meant they were girls. I looked for blue eyes since Emmy has blue eyes, and I wanted at least one girl, I couldn't find one with a bald head and one with a patch of hair, so I thought I'll just get these with the blue eyes and patches of hair...at least she'd get a girl. Well upon opening them and reading their birth certificates I came home with Gavin Joe and Andre Manuel! All that digging through boxes of cabbage patches for a girl, and I brought home two boys...with patches of blond hair!
