St. George Trip!

We decided we needed a little vacation, so we drove south to find some warm weather and tons of sunshine, since we hardly get any of it here! We drove down with Ammon and Alison and their family, in the big Green Van! We met Matt, Jen, Kelly and Ryan with their families in St. George! We had so much fun, I hope we can make this a family tradition and head south every spring!  In the middle of town near the tabernacle, their is a fun waterfall and little river that runs through the square. There is also a place where the kids can sit and wait for water to spit out of the ground into a fountain, similar to the gateway in SLC.  Emmy just had her clothes on but that wasn't stopping her from jumping in. She loved climbing on the little rocks. Thanks Jen for letting us borrow a swim diaper!

We hiked around the red cliffs, the little arches were so fun, Brody was a little nervous being on top, because the wind was blowing making it hard for him to keep balanced!  We also went swimming.  There is an awesome swim park inside the recreation center, it had slides, and water toys galore! We had a blast! I think we could have stayed all day!  Emmy loved going down the slide with Dan! Brody wouldn't go down the slide it made him nervous.  Emmy went down both small one's, the red one, the blue one on the other side of the jungle gym, and then the big one that circles outside! She was our brave one! Brody just wanted to swim like a shark!  There was this fun outdoor park that Jen found the last time she was in St. George, so we hung out there for half a day, and Emmy and Brody had a Blast!

We had a great time. Thanks for coming with us. Your kids were awesome ( and Adorable). It is always to get away for a short break now and again. We will have to do it again.

We had fun too. You got lucky that your kids were good in the car. I was jealous of that. And that bike ride was fun too. Thanks to Dan, I got to go. Don't know when I will get to do that again. Loved it. We should make it a tradition and go once or twice a year.
