We love the Hyrum City Parade, it's tradition in our family to go since we've been doing it since I was Emmy's age years ago. Traditionally the Hyrum wards would each do a float for the parade, and
the stake decided to invite wards to do it again, several of them did it
and it was great. I hope they continue to do so! My parent's ward did Captain
Moroni and the "Title of Liberty" along with a handcart representing our
pioneers! I loved this float, it was completely fitting for the 4th of
July and also because the used my dad's "Title of Liberty flag" he made
years ago! My kids loved Picking up candy, and throwing fireworks. My mom is amazing,
even though she was tired from getting Reed's wedding together, she
still brought the chairs up to save our spot and bought bags of candy
which she does every year to throw out to the kids from behind so afterwards they come home with handfuls and handfuls of treats!
Reed's
wedding was the very next day and we all had to get up early to be
there. My mom wasn't planning on going to the parade, but when I called
and said..."what you're not going to save a spot...but you do every
year!" She totally came through for us, because she knew how
much we love it and how much our kids love it...mom thanks for all you
do and for loving us so much, we are so blessed to have you!
Lance and Emmy walked home together. He is the sweetest Uncle. Lance thanks for being so amazing to my little ones, they love you unconditionally! Emmy "en vogue" with her cute little sunglasses, still by Lance's side!

Ada was in that parade. I didn't think that it would ever end. It was super long.
