Day at the Drive-in!

We were bored one day when we had Eliza and baby Beau over. It had rained all day, so we went looking for card board boxes at Grandpa Thatcher's shop and brought them home and turned them into some awesome cars!  Brodyn of course had to have a truck...with trailer and all.  We never got the trailer finished!  He painted the whole thing black all by himself!  We got them finally finished. They dried while the kids were taking their naps. Afterwards we popped popcorn and had a mini-drive in while watching Wall-e!  The mess afterward was pretty grand!  Whenever you do something fun there seems to always be a mess to follow, but today it was so worth it!

That is a cute idea. Corey had to do this for school last year. They had a school drive in with the 1st graders. But I only had to make 1 car. You made 3. That is alot of work, but something the kids will always remember.

You are super ambitious. I use to be... I just am losing the energy any more. Good for you. What a fun mom and I am sure the kids loved their sweet rides.
