The things kids say!

I love the little things my kids say...

Emmy walked in behind me as we headed into her bath room to brush teeth and randomly she says..."awkward" in the funniest tone. She also is always saying "No matter, mom"...and then fills it in with whatever... like, "no matter, we can do it this way." What she's trying to say is "it's okay or it doesn't matter!" She is our solution girl, she is always telling us how to make something work out. She also says "oh sorry, mom" for something she's done or is going to do, today she was going to turn the light on when I was trying to put the baby to sleep and before she does it she's says "oh sorry, mom I have to turn the light on"...and her tone of voice and expression on her face was so remorseful!

Tonight Dan asked Brodyn why he had to get his eye fixed...he said, "because it's crooked dad!" While I was getting them in the tub I pulled my hair up to get it out of the way and Brodyn says..."don't do Marsha." Whenever I pull my hair up I am apparently Marsha and when my hair is down I am Mom. I said why don't you like Marsha? Brody says, "because Marsha cleans and Mom plays with me!"
