It started to snow last night, as we turned on the spot light out back and watched the thick chunky flakes fall, I couldn't help but feel a pinch of depression settling in. How could summer have left us so quickly. It feels like we just said good-bye to winter!
This morning we woke up and this is what we found. Though Dan and I looked out with dissatisfaction, the kids on the other hand couldn't get there snow pants and coats on fast enough! Here is Emmy riding the sled with 'no hands!'
I stayed inside with Sophie and took pictures and ran the video camera! But it looked like too much fun to stay inside, so when Dan got tired of driving the 4-wheeler, I took a turn dragging the kids around the house! Emmy wanted to hold Sophie on the sled so she could have a turn too...um...I don't think so!
Though it is so sad summer and fall are over...I must say we had a blast out in the snow. I just laughed watching Emmy and Brody just giggling with delight! I love the seasons...too bad our winter season is soooo long, but we'll have fun in it no matter what!
