The Tooth Fairy is Coming to Visit!

It happened...it finally happened, the first lost tooth! This little tooth has been wiggly for quite awhile. It has been flapping in the breeze for about two weeks! Brody kept wiggly it on his own and doing a great job! Every night he'd say..."Mom try and pull it out now!" and I'd try to grab onto to it and wiggle it out but it kept hanging on! Tonight we tried one more go at it. I tried the twist and pull to break it's vice like grip on his gums, that didn't work. Brody was about to say, "no more" when I did a last bend all the way forward and..."POP" out it came! I didn't tell him I got it out, just waited for him to realize it! It took him a little bit to realize it was gone and then in amazement he said..."it's out!" In the first few pictures he looks like a little vampire! He kept giggling after and looking in the mirror to check out his new smile! Emmy was quite perturbed and couldn't believe I would do such a thing. She said to me..."you aren't going to pull my tooth mom!" I think the bloody smile Brody showed her gave her quite the shock! Afterward Brody said to Emmy..."it doesn't even hurt Emmy when mom pulls your tooth, you don't even feel it...it just goes POP!" I think he is quite proud of himself! We placed the tooth in a little red squinkie ball and placed it under his pillow!! We'll see if the Tooth Fairy comes tonight!!
