Every fall we walk the 1/2 mile to Grandma Thatcher's house and look for monarch caterpillars. The last two years we weren't able to find a single caterpillar. This year the mother-load was deposited all over our milky weed! We found one caterpillar after another. We came home with about a dozen little caterpillars. What a beautiful and amazing butterfly the monarch is! We had so much fun watching them through their cycle!
