We love the tradition of a live Christmas Tree and absolutely love the smell!! This year it took us two attempts two bring home our Tree! The first attempt we tried to go for family night, Dan had gotten home later than he had hoped so we left the house about 8:00 p.m. We reached Smith's Marketplace and picked out our tree, and to our utter disappointment neither Dan or I had brought our wallets. By the time we got home it was too late to head back into town and then put a tree up so the kids were put to be ever so dismayed. A week later we succeeded on our 2nd attempt to bring home a tree, the kids picked out a beautiful one! It took us about two days to get it all decorated but it was magical when we finally did!
Christmas Eve always brings magic and presents! Twinkle Winks and Marco our two family elves dropped off a friendly reminder that Santa was indeed on his way! Every Christmas Eve our elves drop off Christmas pajamas so the kids can get ready for sleep so Santa can come our way! My parents were sweet enough to drop by and let the kids participate in their own little money roll, since all three of my kids were sick for our Brenchley family Christmas party! They each got a good wad of cash in their roll!!
