Dan's Uintah Trip!

First Day of School!

This year was only great on the first day of school.  I was so excited to have school start, summer completely exhausted me, with being pregnant and having kids and kids at my house.  Two days a week I have Melissa's three kids, and then my two nephews and niece next door were always over at my house, plus all the neighbor kids.  Brody can't imagine a day without friends 24/7 in it that I was overwhelmed with extra kids.  I finally had to make Friday a no-friend day to get some relief and have time with just my little brood!  We did survive but I was all smiles when all those kids got onto the bus.  The first day of school was RED day for Emmy so thank heavens we actually owned something red to wear!  It was a Sunday dress!

14 Great Grandchildren and Counting!

 Nana is still with us and we love very much to be with her.  Emmy and Nana have a special kindred bond for each other.  They may have been best friends in the pre-existance, because they just adore each other.  Emmy pays more attention to Nana than any other great-grandchild.  It is such a special relationship, I love to watch it grow and grow!  Jeannine and Matt were up for the weekend so pictures were a must, but look at some of those grumpy kiddos!  It looks like we are missing Spencer in the pictures!

Mic and Danielle's Sealing in the SlC Temple!

 Mic and Danielle were sealed together in the Salt Lake Temple.  We had such a pleasant time walking around Temple Square and enjoying all there is to see.  It was such a great excuse to take the kids down and show them around.  We have only taken the kids a few other times, it was such a special afternoon.  My entire family was together except for Berry.  We had family pictures and ate at the Joseph Smith Memorial building which was just delicious!  What a beautiful day!  I only had my phone camera so the pictures are not the best but better than nothing I guess!
