Picking and Decorating the Tree!

 This really is my favorite time of year!  Each year my bright eyed little ones get to pick out our tree for the season! They picked the perfect tree this year.  It is now a few days after Christmas and our tree is still beautiful and the leaves are still soft!  The smell of a fresh cut Christmas tree is so intoxicating!  Once the kids picked their favorite we brought it home for a little "sprucing" up!  I love watching them hang the ornaments!  Each year Santa brings each child a new ornament, it is a special one picked out just for them which represents something about them at this moment in their lives!  Brodyn's ornament was a motorcyle, Emmy's a Tiger (representing her favorite stuffed animal that had gotten lost months ago which Santa was able to find him and bring him home!), and Sophia's a little monkey...no need to explain!!
