Brody's Christmas

Brody was one of the three wise-men, in the Brenchley family nativity. Actually he was a wise-man/the incredible Hulk, with all that green the hulk just has to come out!!

Brody at the Thatcher Christmas/New Year's party, He got this cute hoodie from Grandma Thatcher, and those awesome Santa socks!! Grandma Thatcher has 17 grandchildren, and she got sweaters for all of them, and got all sizes correct, amazing!! Way to go Grandma!

Brody out Shoveling with Dad!!

Brodyn helping Mom open her present!

Santa brought Brodyn a cool disney's cars bike, and here is Brody trying to ride it for the first time, by summer he is going to be all over the place!!

Christmas Time

Here's Brodyn with his aunt Stephanie! We had a pajama Christmas/New Years party with the Thatcher family, it was so much fun!!

Emmy chow'in down on one of Santa's cookies we left him the night before!! She is sporting her styling giraffe slippers!

Brody and Emmy racing there animals, the dinosaur is Brody's and the Lion is Emmy's but I think Brody likes the lion best! Emmy can actually get off on her own but not on!

Yeah, someone is a big fan of Santa this year!! He loved opening the presents, we had to wake him up, I think Dan and I were the excited ones. Grandma and Grandpa Brenchley and Lance came to watch the kids open presents, they got here before Brodyn woke up!

Well Santa's elves dropped off Four packages on our front doorstep, on Christmas Eve. There was glitter and Christmas confetti all over the presents, the steps and the porch. The Elves must have left some Christmas dust and magic behind!! Inside the presents were brand new pajamas, and slippers! The elves were letting us know that it was bedtime and that Santa was on his way!!

Happy Birthday Emmy

Happy Birthday Princess, Grandma Brenchley made this adorable lady bug birthday cake, because I called her on my lunch break (I ended up having to work all day on Emmy's birthday), upset because I couldn't find a cake decorator to do a "Tinkerbell" birthday cake in the short amount of time that I had, since I had procrastinated.
It was my fault to begin with, I was going to order the cake the day before, of course the cake decorators come in in the mornings to make their orders, and then go home by lunchtime. Well the day before I got so busy, I didn't want to call because I wanted to go look in their cake book first. Any way I never made it to the bakery.
I felt so bad I actually started crying in all my frustration to find a cake, because I felt like such a bad mom. I know she is only turning 1, and she'll never remember, but I had made such a big deal of Brody's 1st birthday, and I felt I wasn't giving her the same. (2nd child syndrome!)
So I am never going to work on my kid's birthday again, I am going to always take it off, and get things ordered and prepared the day before!! It ended up working out so cute. My 'Tinkerbell' theme birthday party was a hit, because the Ladybug cake matched perfectly, because there are ladybugs in the new Tinkerbell movie which she got for her birthday, so everything blended well.
Of course she didn't dig in right off, it took her awhile to check it out and decide what to do, but after a few tastes she was all over that business and stuffed her face!! I had to give her a quick bath before she opened all the presents! it's been almost three weeks now and her balloons are stilling floating, I can't believe it!

HULK MAN

Here's Brody we let him start watching the "Incredible Hulk" the new one that came out with Liv Tyler, well it started to get a little scary so we decided to watch the rest after he went to sleep!! He remembered what he'd seen and pretends he is the Hulk now!!
Fancy little splits!! His two older cousins, Annie and Lexi, taught him ballet, it is so funny he'll hold onto the couch and lean forward and kick his legs up trying to do ballet moves!! I think the splits are probably his fanciest move so far! He's got "awesome skills"!!
Here is our sleepy little "belle of the ball!!" she is just so pretty and I love her so much, I am so thankful for my little princess, I think everyone needs to have a girl and boy!! they are both so different and so much fun!! I am just so thankful that I can experience them both!!
Here is Emmy again, she is not quite a year in this picture!! just crawling as you can see!
Here is my little Dork!! He found these upstairs in all our storage stuff, and puts the snorkel piece in his mouth. I ended up having to put one of those child locks that go around the whole door knob so he'd stop going upstairs!!

Happy Halloween

Halloween 2008

Well Halloween was really fun, we did the "trunk or treat" at our church parking lot, and let me tell you, whoever thought that up is a master-mind!! It was so quick, Brodyn got a load of 'teeth-rotting' candy, and he loved it!!

Here is our 'little cowboy', His costume was a riding horse that had suspenders, I thought he'd love it because Grandma Brenchley has one and when we are there he has me put it on and off, then on and off again! This costume he just tolerated! After I bought this costume at Walmart, Brody kept saying he wanted to be a rhino for Halloween, (he's obsessed with rhinos) a rhino costume is not easy to find, so needless to say he stayed a cowboy!

Emmy was a little stinker!! she was so cute, and the best thing about her costume is, I got it last year on sale at the children's place for $4.00. She definitely was one of the cutest skunks on Halloween night!!

COWBOYS

Brody with his dad, look how big his Halloween bag is!! Believe it or not that little horse was small enough that it fit perfect on him and he was able to walk so easily. We are at the trunk or treat in this picture. Later Dan took him house to house around our block!!

Emmy Le'Pue

I have no idea how you spell that in french!! Anyway here is our little stinker again, and boy is she ever a little stinker! I can't believe she left the costume on without tearing the hat off!! Melissa let us use those cute black striped tights to complete the ensemble!

"Thatcher Stinkers!"

Here is Emmy with her cousin Abby, they were both little skunks, they are only 2 1/2 months apart, they are going to be best friends. They are both mommy babies, or what my sister-in-law calls "Velcro Babies"!

Welcome to the Family Athos and Theo!!

I know...I know, everyone is
Thinking..."Marsha got cats!!", Well let me tell you the story! I was walking into the laundry room two nights ago, and from the corner of my eye, I see a flash of brown run under the baskets in the mud room. You guessed it, yet another mouse, we live around fields, and we have had the worst luck with mice. So the very next day, Dan brings home two ultra mouse traps, the type that is like a box and they run into it, and then some ultra huge sticky pads!
Well that was great and all...but I brought home two mouse hunters...look at those two fierce, ferocious wild beasts!! Well Brodyn adores them, sissy just coos at them and claps her hands. We bathed them today so they are ready to be apart of the family!! (they are garage cats...by the way!!) I'm hoping they catch the mice before they make it inside!!

Grandpa Gibson Turned 99 Years Old!

We went to Idaho to celebrate Grandpa Gibson's
99Th Birthday party. It was so much fun and of course Grandpa was just as fun as ever!

It was so much fun to see everyone, and just enjoy Grandpa for the day. We love him so much. I've only known him for 8yrs now, but he is definitely my grandpa too!! Grandpa is such an amazing man, he has this amazing memory, Dan always jokes that grandpa remembers more than he can!! He tells the best stories, which is the best part about going up to visit Grandpa Gibson!!

We spent the afternoon, singing Happy Birthday and eating birthday cake. The kid's love to play at Aunt Jill's house. This is Brodyn sliding down the slide, he thinks he is so big that he can do it all by himself; well almost all by himself, Dad had to lift him up, his little legs can't climb the ladder all the way to the top!

Here we are sitting next to Grandpa! He was getting so cold, he had sat there, and of course everyone wanted pictures with him! Kamian and her little sister, and Angie and Cindy took pictures with him and then turned and both gave him kisses on both cheeks! His face was so cute he was just a grinning!

Brodyn wouldn't give us a good smile! We had a hard enough time just tracking him down to sit for a picture, and Emmy is just looking at him being silly.

Here's Emmy at Aunt Jill's house, she is so tired. She had such a busy day! look at those sleepy blue eyes, believe it or not she actually kept that brown ribbon around her head the whole time. It was actually pretty chilly there, I am so glad we brought jackets, we probably should have brought coats and of course I didn't bring a blanket.

I think this is Grandpa's 4-wheeler or maybe it is Aunt Jill's, anyway it was parked on the grass where everyone was playing and Brody found it and played on it forever! At first I didn't know where he had gone and just like a guy...he found a "big-boy toy!!"

Here's Emmy again, with Dad, she loves daddy, she is just chilling out in the cool weather with him. I got her to sorta smile, even though she was getting tired!
