Alaska Trip!
Dan was so lucky this summer, he was able to fly to Alaska and do some salmon fishing with his buddies.
He was gone for a few days, one of which was my birthday. That was a little bit of a bummer but I got over that pretty fast when I saw how much salmon he brought home with him!
Dan said there were black bears all over the place, just waiting to steal a fish or two. One bear in particular came down to where one fisherman had a pile of freshly caught fish and one he'd been filleting. the bear chased him off and stole the fish the man had been filleting...smart bear!!
This picture was taken from the back porch of the small cabin they were staying in, only about 50ft from them. The eagle's are my favorite pictures. I think they are such awesome animals, they are such big birds!
Dan had so much fun, he wants to do it every year!
