Here are a few pictures of the Thatcher Easter Egg Hunt! Emmy and Abby shared a basket as they gathered their eggs, Grandma Thatcher always does such a good job in organizing separate hunts for the age ranges of the grand kids!
Easter morning was so much fun. Camille and Matt slept over and were with us for all the excitement! The Easter Bunny always hides the baskets for the kids to find upon waking. This year he set up a yarn treasure hunt for the baskets! Initially they were hidden upstairs in the heater closet, Brodyn found them within 2 seconds of waking up..."good try Easter Bunny" he didn't even see the yarn trail! So I told him that he startled the Easter Bunny and that he woke up too early and that the Easter Bunny was not quite finished and was hiding upstairs...so the kids crept under our covers in our bed too wait while I went out and talked with the Easter Bunny. Of course I apologized for the disruption and told him he would be able to finish without any further interruptions! So needless to say the Bunny quickly switched plans and took the baskets outside to the chicken coop and re-routed the yarn trail!! "Phew" good thinking Bunny! Next year I told the Bunny he had to step it up, because our kids are just to darn quick!!
